Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday.There are lots of great foods to enjoy, there is a a bunch of family gathered at my grandmother's house,and dessert is so good you cant leave yourself at one serving.All of these things add up to a great Thanksgiving.
This Thanksgiving was so great. All of my family came down to celebrate thanksgiving at my grandmothers house,even my grandma Ruby who came down from Savannah GA. My aunt Cherie,uncle Hayze,and my three cousins Murphy, Hayze,and Henry Holderness all came down from North Carolina.My aunt Gail,Uncle Stan and my cousin Morgan came down from Macon GA.Th ewhole family was here for a wonderful thanksgiving.
This years food was amazing! There was turkey that looked a honey gold in color but tasted liked soft chewy flavored dough in my mouth with a crunchy covering around the edge that gave it the most flavor. There were mixed vegetable in one dish, corn, peas, carrots,green beans,and so much more all coming still hot and steamy from the microwave. The stuffing was so soft with such a burst of flavor it made my mouth pop open wide. but the bread rolls i loved most of all,the were baked fresh by my grandmother Jackie,the were the perfect crisp golden color,they were so soft it was like i was chewing on a cloud!
Oh this great thanksgiving with all of my family and the amazing food was nothing compared to the feast of a dessert we had! There was kelime pie,apple pie,pecan pie you name it that pie was there. All of them were amazing,but we all smeeled something fresh coming from the oven ,we all walk towards the kitchen to fiund my grandmother had made us her famous sugar cookies! They were so good,they were perfect,soft as cooking flower,and sweet as sugar.they tasted so amazing I had three of them and took some home after this great thanks giving was over.
